I Have A Friend Who Walks With Me

I thought this was real nice:

I Have A Friend Who Walks With Me

I have a friend who walks with me, and He makes my pathway shine, He’s my Lord and Savior; He’s our God, so powerful and most divine. Praise to our most gracious and glorious King; the King above all kings. Yes, praise to Him, He is our mighty Protector, who makes our hearts sing.

With Him by my side to lean on, and to guide me through the night, I have nothing to fear, for I know that He is there with a shining light. He is there to guide me, and show me the way, and to Him do I cling, Heavenly Father, so majestically wonderful, You are our powerful King.

You are wonderful dear Lord, and in You I do worship, and adore, For You, are full of glory and You will reign forever and ever more. Because, of what You did for me, now I no longer have to be the same, asking for forgiveness You forgave me, I no longer hang my head in shame.

When I get to glory, I will sing for joy the story of the love You have for me, because, of You my soul does not have to parish in hell, but is truly set free. You are an awesome God, for Your Son died on a cross for me, He took my place, when my time on this earth is over I’ll be in heaven surrounded by Your mighty grace.

So, when you are faced with valleys of desperation by making a poor choice, don’t look back; look up for the mountains will bring you joy, so rejoice. Remember, it’s when you are in those valleys the Lord is just a prayer away, get down on your knees, and ask Him into you heart, get on your knees and pray.

We have a friend, who walks with us, and He makes our pathway shine, He’s our Lord and Savior; He’s our God, so powerful and most divine. Praise to our gracious and glorious King; You are the King above all kings. Yes, I praise You, for are our mighty Redeemer, who makes our hearts sing.

“Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.” - Psalm 86:11
