Did You Know...

I wanted to post this before and forgot, but something I wanted to tell all of you four wheelers (thats the truckers term for car/suv/pickup drivers)...did you know that when a truck, a semi, has his flashers on, that means one...they are backing up as we arent equipped with backup lites like cars are...two, there is an emergency for them, DO NOT GET BEHIND them...and three, they are going up hill and the engine has to work so hard to pull up to 80,000 lbs, so be respectful!

Just thought I would let you know as there are SO many people who one...get behind a truck when there is an emergency...two, wiz around a truck pulling that much weight, thinking the driver is just in their way and three...will move heaven and earth to make sure they make their turn or have to get to where they are going, making it dangerous when we are backing up!!

So, please, there are so many laws out there that people break on a daily basis regarding sharing the road with trucks.
